I was thoroughly disappointed with my massage. I was told when I checked in that the masseuse was very popular, and I find that very hard to believe. The massage was a birthday gift and it was the worst massage I have ever experienced in my 15 years of receiving them. I felt like the masseuse could not wait to be finished, her work was extremely mechanical. She seemed inexperienced, like she knew the moves but there was no love in her treatment. To top it off the music playing during the session sounded like the soundtrack from an 80's horror movie. I am an extremely agreeable person, rarely complain, I don't write letters. It's a month later and I am still disappointed. I felt it necessary that my awful experience be documented. If that had been my first massage I would never do it again. I will not be using the services of Massage Envy again, even if it was a gift. I will advise anyone looking for a place to have a massage NOT to use their services.
