wedding gown Wedding gown was altered too small and the hair ornament broke prior to use, the replacement ornament broke by the end of the wedding reception.
Janet, the shop owner assured me that the alterations (done by her preferred seamstress) were correct. The seamstress had to come to my parent's house to personally get me in the dress. It took 10 minutes to get the dress zipped. Of course, she said the fabric had to breathe and get "warm" to zip up easily. The inside lining on the bodice rode up and out for the entire time the dress was worn. Additionally, the midsection wrinkled because how tight the dress was. My pictures are ruined, I was uncomfortable and I would NEVER recommend Butterfly Bridal or Sandi, the seamstress, to anyone. Both Butterfly Bridal and the seamstress told me that "it was suppose to fit like this". I felt like a stuffed sausage.
It should be noted, that I lost 15 pounds, from the time that I bought the dress until I had the first fitting. There was NO weight change from the first fitting until the final fitting.
